Sons of Congo Partners

Camille oversees Light of Africa’s media strategy on a national scale. He facilitates their radio programming and community projects. Esther leads Un Jour Nouveau, a community development centered Congolese nonprofit.
Together, Camille and Esther train leaders, care for women who are victims of war, teach literacy, educate kids, and disciple youth and men. Both are from Congo and graduated from Vanguard University in Southern California, receiving degrees in Communications, Intercultural, Pastoral and Biblical Studies, with Camille earning a Masters degree in Leadership Studies. They also have a certificate of studies in Micro Economic Development. Camille and Esther felt called to return to the war torn Congo for ministry. They comment on it all, “When people tell us that they are impressed by our courage, we reply; that is what we were created to do. We feel privileged to be God’s vessel of care, hope, and restoration.”
